SLU Post-UTME/DE Form, Cut-off mark and Screening dates out – 2023/2024

Are you a prospective student seeking admission into Sule Lamido University (SLU) for the 2023/2024 academic session? Eligibility for the Screening:

Before diving into the registration process, it’s crucial to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria. For UTME candidates, a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, is required. Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Lower Credit in the National Diploma, a Merit in NCE, and 6 points in the IJMBE Advanced Level.

Even if SLU wasn’t your first choice, you still have a chance! UTME candidates with a score of 140 and above can change their choice to SLU via the JAMB website.

Program Cut-off Points:

SLU offers a range of programs across various faculties, each with its specific UTME cut-off points. Here’s a quick look at the cut-off points for some programs:

Registration Process:

Mark your calendar! Online registration for the screening exercise begins on Monday, 11th September 2023, and concludes at midnight on Sunday, 24th September 2023. Follow these simple steps to complete your registration:

  1. Visit the SLU website at www.slu.edu.ng and navigate to admissions. Select online application or visit admissions.slu.edu.ng and choose UTME or Direct Entry (DE).
  2. Log in using your UTME number and UTME score (for UTME applicants) or DE number, state of origin, and gender (for DE applicants). Upload your passport-sized photograph.
  3. Update your profile with accurate information and update your ‘O’ Level examinations (maximum of two sittings). Upload a clean, clear scanned copy of your SSCE statement of results (for UTME candidates).
  4. DE candidates proceed to upload their SSCE and ‘A’ Level results.
  5. Navigate to “POST-UTME payment” and click on “Pay Now” to pay the screening fee of ₦2,000.00 (exclusive of REMITA charges) via any commercial bank, debit card, or Remita website.
  6. After successful payment, generate, download, and print the “Acknowledgement Slip” to complete your registration.

Final Steps:

Upon successful registration, be prepared to present the following documents during registration:

  • Acknowledgement Slip
  • Evidence of Payment
  • UTME Result/DE Registration Slip
  • SSCE Statement(s) of Result
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background
  • Certificate of Indigeneship
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  • ‘A’ Level Statement of Result (for DE candidates only)

Remember, if you wish to change your choice of institution or program, use the JAMB Green Card within the specified period.
