Admission Details for 76 Regular Course (2023-2024)

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) invites both MALE and FEMALE Nigerians to apply for the 76 Regular Course. The online application period is from Monday, October 30, 2023, to April 30, 2024. Interested candidates should visit the official application portal at http://www.ndaapplications.net, where they can purchase an access code and pay the application fee of ₦43,500.00 through REMITA.

How to Apply: A Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Log on to http://www.ndaapplications.net.
  2. Select “Purchase Access Code” and fill in your details.
  3. Pay the application fee via REMITA after obtaining your ORDER ID and REMITA Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code.

Note: Only payments against RRR Codes generated through the application portal will be accepted.

Method of Application and Joint Admissions:

Candidates must also apply to the 2024 Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) and select NDA as their first-choice institution. Ensure that you sit for the JAMB Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).

Submission of Applications:

Submit your application forms online, including scanned SSCE results. After submission, download the Acknowledgement Form.

Admission Requirements:

Details for various undergraduate degree programmes can be found on the NDA website/applications portal. Working knowledge of French/Arabic is an added advantage.

Screening Test Conditions:

Candidates with a UTME score of 180 (Arts & Social Sciences, Science) and 210 (Engineering) can print the Screening Test Admission Card. The screening test is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Screening Test Date and Requirements:

Candidates must bring the Acknowledgement Form, Screening Test Admission Card, JAMB result slip, and two postcard-size photographs to the screening test center. Successful candidates will be invited for the Armed Forces Selection Board (phase 2).

Nature and Duration of Training:

Admitted candidates will undergo a 5-year military and academic training as Officer Cadets. Upon completion, they will earn an honors degree and a Presidential Commission into the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

Administration and Reference Materials:

The Federal Government of Nigeria will bear the cost of administration and logistics for all Regular Course cadets. Reference materials, including a Compendium of Past Questions, are available to aid your preparation.
