Eligibility Criteria for Applicants:

If you’re considering The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as your institution of choice, here are the eligibility criteria you need to meet:

  1. Obtain a Minimum Acceptable Mark (MAM) of 140 in the 2023/2024 UTME.
  2. Possess five (5) O’ level subject requirements at Credit level in not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE, and NABTEB.

Specific Requirements for NABTEB Applicants:

For those applying with NABTEB (NTC) for Courses in the School of Engineering (SOE) and School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT), additional requirements include:

  • Possession of a core subject from the Trade Related Area (TRA) in addition to the five (5) O’ level subjects.
  • NABTEB Business Certificate (NBC) is not accepted in the School of Engineering, except for the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Application Process: Admission Form Guidelines

Follow these steps to complete the screening application process:

  1. Visit the Polytechnic Website at www.students.fedpolyado.edu.ng and click on “applicants” to generate and print the screening application payment invoice.
  2. Take the invoice to any bank or use the Remita Platform to make a payment of ₦2,000.00.
  3. Alternatively, make payment with a debit card (Master Card, Visa Card, and Verve Card) following the instructions on the invoice generation page.
  4. After payment, revisit the School Portal to fill the screening forms using the RRR number on the payment invoice. Ensure the invoice and the RRR are in your name.
  5. Carefully review your forms before submission.
  6. Print your acknowledgement slip and screening forms.

Important Tips and Reminders:

  • Applicants are advised to upload their O’level subjects on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), especially awaiting results candidates.
