    • HND holders in non-related areas with a minimum of Lower Credit may be admitted after passing prescribed tests.
    • Candidates with qualifications acceptable to the Board of Postgraduate School and Senate.
    • Must satisfy the University’s matriculation requirements.
  2. Masters Degrees (Academic and Professional):
    • Graduates with at least second class honours lower division or its equivalent.
    • Candidates with unclassified degrees with an average of “C” or 50%.
    • Bachelor’s degree holders in third division with at least three years of relevant working experience.
    • HND holders with at least a Lower Credit pass and a Lower Credit pass at Postgraduate Diploma.
    • Candidates with qualifications acceptable to the Board of Postgraduate School and Senate.
    • May be required to pass prescribed examinations.
  3. Masters of Philosophy (M.Phil.):
    • Graduates with good Masters Degrees and a minimum GPA of less than 3.5 on a 5-point scale or less than 2.5 on a 4-point scale.
    • Candidates with the degree of Professional Masters and a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 5-point scale.
    • Candidates recommended for upgrade from Masters to M.Phil.
    • M.Phil. candidates with Ph.D. in view must possess a minimum of a second-class bachelor’s degree.
    • Candidates with qualifications acceptable to the Board of Postgraduate School and Senate.
  4. Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D):
    • Graduates with good Masters Degrees and a GPA of 4.00 and above on a 5-point scale or 3.50 on a 4-point scale.
    • Candidates with research-only Masters degrees must have a minimum of “B” grades or a 60% score.
    • Candidates with qualifications acceptable to the Board of Postgraduate School and Senate.
    • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in at least Second Class Lower Division.
    • Relevant qualifications and acceptable research proposals required.
