1. Admission Requirements:

Before applying, ensure you meet the following entry requirements:

  • Master’s Programs: Minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a 5-point scale or 2.75 on a 4-point scale.
  • Ph.D. Programs: Minimum CGPA of 4.00 on a 5-point scale or 3.00 on a 4-point scale.
  • PGD Programs: CGPA of 1.50 and above.
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree from recognized universities may credit relevant courses towards the Ph.D. program.

2. Application Procedure:

Follow these simple steps to apply online:

  • Visit any bank nationwide and make a payment of ₦30,000.00 on the E-Transact platform to purchase the Postgraduate School application form for the 2023 academic session.
  • Obtain the payment slip after making the payment.
  • Visit www.unicalonline.edu.ng/admissions to log in with the generated PIN on the payment slip and fill out the Postgraduate form.

3. Deadline and Screening:

Mark these important dates on your calendar:

  • Deadline for submission: 30th November 2023.
  • Screening dates: 8th and 9th December 2023.
  • The screening test will include a Computer-Based Test covering English Language, Logic, Mathematics, ICT, and General Knowledge.
  • Oral interviews will be conducted for Ph.D. and Master’s candidates based on subject areas/concept notes, excluding MBA, MPAS, and all PGD programs.

4. Mock Examination:

A mock examination for computer fluency will be held (date not specified).
