Who Can Apply?

Applications are open to School Leavers, Non-School Leavers, and Special Cases. Whether you just completed your secondary education or have unique circumstances, COOU welcomes all eligible candidates.

Entry Requirements:

To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum of five relevant credit passes in Ordinary Level, SSCE (WAEC), SSCE (NECO), NABTEB, or an equivalent qualification. For Arts, English Language is a must, and for Sciences and Social Sciences, proficiency in both English and Mathematics is required.

Candidates with deficiencies in their ‘O’ level results will be considered, but they are encouraged to address any deficiencies before the 2024/2025 admission exercise.

Application Procedure:

  1. Visit the COOU Pre-Degree admission portal.
  2. Select the Admission Forms Link and choose Pre-Degree as the Admissions Form Type.
  3. Provide your phone number and email address.
  4. Click on the “MAKE PAYMENT NOW” button to complete the payment process. Payments can be made online using ATM Card/Internet Banking or at any branch of commercial banks using the pre-payment slip.
  5. After payment, return to the online portal and click on the “Register” link to obtain your login credentials and complete your registration.
  6. Print out the 2024/2025 Screening Exercise Schedule Slip.
  7. Ensure to log out from your application when you are done.
