University of Maiduguri, UNIMAID Post UTME/DE Forms – 2024/2025 Admission

Admission Methods:

UNIMAID offers admission through two methods – UTME entry and Direct Entry. For the UTME entry, prospective students must obtain the JAMB Forms, select UNIMAID, and participate in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Additionally, applicants need to complete the online UNIMAID Application Forms.

Application Procedures:

Follow these simple steps for a successful UNIMAID application:

  1. Visit the UNIMAID Admission Portal: Access the portal using the provided link.
  2. Create an Account: Click on “register,” fill in the registration form, and click “register account.” Note: Avoid using Yahoo mail.
  3. Confirmation: A confirmation link will be sent to your email. Click on it to be redirected to the payment page.
  4. Payment: After making the payment, log in using your username (email/JAMB number) and password. Proceed with your registration.
  5. Course Selection: Choose your UTME first and second choices, UTME subject combination, and provide your UTME score.
  6. Bio Data Form: Fill in all required fields, upload a recent passport photograph, save, and move to the next step.
  7. O Level Results: Provide your O level results, with a maximum of two sittings allowed.
  8. Previous Institutions and Qualifications: Detail previous institutions attended with qualifications obtained. DE students must include grades from post-secondary schools.
  9. Document Upload: Upload scanned copies of certificates and results.
  10. Submission: Click “submit” when completed. Upon successful submission, you’ll see a message confirming your application.

Screening Criteria:

The screening exercise is for candidates scoring 160 and above in the UTME and a minimum of Lower Credit/Merit in Diploma, 9 points in NCE/IJMB, or Second Class Lower Division from a recognized institution for Direct Entry.

Application Fee:

Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2000. Follow the specified payment method in the application procedure, and keep a copy of your proof of payment.

  • UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
  • UNIMAID Post-UTME Acknowledgement Slip (Coloured and photocopy)

  • O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) or an online version
  • UNIMAID Online application form (for Direct Entry only)
