NDA 75th Regular Course Interview List, Dates & Requirements

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced the screening test results for the year 2023, and successful candidates are gearing up for the interview before the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB). If you’re one of the shortlisted candidates, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming interview, from dates and batches to the essential documents required for a smooth process.

1. Important Dates and Batches:

The interview process is divided into two batches to accommodate candidates from various states. Batch 1 is scheduled from Saturday, May 27, to Friday, June 16, 2023, while Batch 2 will take place from Saturday, June 17, to Friday, July 7, 2023. It’s crucial to note that failing to report on the specified dates may lead to disqualification.

2. States and Reporting Details:

Candidates from specific states are grouped into the respective batches. Batch 1 includes states such as Anambra, Lagos, and Taraba, while Batch 2 comprises states like Enugu, Kaduna, and Oyo. Ensure you report on time according to your batch to avoid any inconvenience.

3. Screening Exercise Overview:

All candidates will undergo a rigorous screening exercise involving document verification, medical and physical fitness tests, individual/group obstacles, and a 3.2km race, among other assessments. Successful completion of this stage is essential to proceed to the interview.

4. Required Documents:

To streamline the process, make sure you bring the following original documents and their photocopies:

  • JAMB UTME Result Slip 2021
  • Acknowledgement Form and NDA Screening Test Admission Card
  • Academic Certificates/Statements of Result for Primary and Secondary Schools
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  • Letter of Attestation of State/Local Government Indigeneship
  • Letter of Consent from Parent/Guardian

Candidates must also download the Attestation and Letter of Consent Forms from the NDA applications portal and complete them beforehand.

5. Additional Items to Bring:

Apart from documents, candidates should pack the following items:

  • Writing materials
  • Three blue shorts and three white (round-neck) T-shirts
  • A pair of white canvas shoes and three pairs of white socks
  • Toiletries
  • Non-refundable fee of N2,500.00 for verification/confirmation of results at WAEC/NECO
  • Scratch cards for WAEC and/or NECO results for online confirmation
  • Four recent colored passport photographs
  • The second copy of the Postcard Photograph endorsed during the NDA Screening Test
  • Transport money to and from Kaduna
