Application Procedure:

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):

Candidates seeking admission into the PGD program should hold a Third class honours first degree in a relevant discipline from any university or a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Upper Credit. For unclassified HND Certificates, a CGPA of 3.50 (5-point scale) or 3.00 (4-point scale) is considered equivalent to Upper Credit.

Master’s (M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Eng.):

Applicants for the Master’s degree program must be graduates of MOUAU or any other recognized university with at least Second Class Honours (3.00 and above on a 5-point scale or 2.50 on a 4-point scale). Alternatively, candidates with an Upper Credit in HND and a Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field are eligible. Other acceptable certificates or qualifications are subject to approval by the Senate.

Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.):

Candidates applying for the Ph.D. program should possess a Master’s degree with coursework and research from MOUAU or an equivalent from a recognized university. A Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 4.00 (5-point scale) or 3.00 (4-point scale) is required.

Application Process:

Interested candidates can obtain application forms online by visiting www.mouau.edu.ng and clicking on the Postgraduate Application button. Follow the 2-stage application process and carefully read the guidelines. An application fee of N18,000.00 is payable through the Remita platform (www.remita.net). After successful payment, complete Stage 2 on the MOUAU Portal (www.mouauportal.edu.ng).

Submission of Documents:

Print the Transcript Application Label and send it to the institution where you earned your qualifying degree(s). Completed application forms and relevant documents should be enclosed in the PG File, available from PG Room F2, and submitted to the Postgraduate School, MOUAU.
