FUTA Pre-degree Science Admission Form 2023/2024 Is Out

Are you a prospective student seeking a gateway to the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Akure? Your opportunity has arrived! The Pre-Degree Science (PDS) Programme at FUTA’s Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) is now accepting applications for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Program Overview

The full-time PDS Programme spans one academic session, divided into two semesters. During this time, candidates not only engage in rigorous academic preparation but also have the chance to write the University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Successful completion opens doors to various schools within the university, including:

• School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT)
• School of Engineering and Engineering Technology (SEET)
• School of Environmental Technology (SET)
• School of Earth and Mineral Sciences (SEMS)
• School of Sciences (SOS)
• School of Health and Health Technology (SHHT)
• School of Computing (SOC)

Admission Requirements

Aspiring candidates should possess five credit passes in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings. The acceptable subjects include English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Technical Drawing, Chemistry, and Geography.

Application Process

1. Visit www.futa.edu.ng and click on the CCE portal to create an account.
2. Log in with your username and password, then click on payment to generate an invoice for the application form.
3. Pay an application fee of Fifteen thousand naira (N15,000.00) only on the Remita platform, excluding bank charges, at any bank.
4. Complete and print the PDS Application form online by visiting www.futa.edu.ng and clicking on the online PDS application form.
5. Submit the online application form and print out a copy of the Screening schedule slip.
6. Await the announcement of the screening date.
7. All candidates with awaiting results must upload their results on www.futa.edu.ng before the closing date.
