This prestigious certificate holds equivalence to the Advance Level General Certificate of Education (A’GCE), Higher School Certificate (HSC), or Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB).

Admission Criteria:

To embark on this academic journey, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in examinations such as GCE, SSCE, WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
• Successfully complete the one-year program consisting of two semesters.
• Pass the prescribed JUPEB examination and fulfill the admission requirements specified by the chosen department and college.

Application Process:

Mark your calendars! The application window opens on the 22nd of July and closes on October 30th. The entrance examinations are scheduled in two batches: the first on September 7th (CBT) and the second on November 2nd. A nominal entrance examination fee of 2,000 Naira applies.

1. Generate an invoice using your mobile number.
2. Proceed to pay online or take the invoice to the bank for payment.
3. Use the processed RRR to fill out the application form.
4. Print the acknowledgment slip.

2. Pre-Degree (Basic) Program: 

FUPRE’s Pre-Degree (Basic) program spans nine intensive months with a focus on improving performance in WASC/NECO/GCE and equivalent examinations. The program aims to prepare candidates thoroughly for the UTME examination, enhancing their chances of admission into Science and Engineering programs at FUPRE.

Admission Criteria:

Candidates for the Pre-Degree program must:

• Possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two examination sittings.
• Successfully complete the program, with admission to FUPRE’s 100-level disciplines determined by the average of the final Basic Studies Examination and JAMB scores.
• Be awaiting their WAEC or NECO results.

Application Process:

The application process mirrors that of the JUPEB program, with the same application dates, entrance examination batches, and fees.
