The Centre for Diploma and Pre-degree Programme (CDPD/JUPEB) at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) is pleased to announce the commencement of applications for the 2024/2025 Pre-Degree Program. This program serves as a pathway for prospective students to gain admission into undergraduate degree programs.
Entry Requirements:
To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language for Arts and English and Mathematics for Sciences and Social Sciences, obtained from Ordinary Level, SSCE (WAEC), SSCE (NECO), NABTEB, or their equivalent. Candidates with deficiencies in their ‘O’ level results will be considered but are required to rectify any deficiencies before the 2024/2025 admission exercise.
Application Procedure:
Interested candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) to access and apply for the remedial programs. The application process involves obtaining an “E-Transaction Pin” for N5,000.00 and an additional N200.00 for bank charges.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to applying:
- Obtain the E-Transaction Pin at ABU Micro Finance Bank, Zaria, or through PAY DIRECT PLATFORM at First Bank PLC or any other Commercial Bank nationwide.
- Visit the ABU Predegree Portal at www.sbrsabu.org and click on the “Application” link from the menu.
- Complete the required form, ensuring you upload a picture (120px x 120px and 40kb).
- After completing the form, preview the page and click on the “Print” button to generate at least two copies for your records.
- Print your “Pre-Entrance Exam Card” in two (2) copies from the website.
- If needed, you can “reprint” or “edit” your submitted form by revisiting the “Application” link.
- Logout from your application when you are done.
