Checking UNIMED Admission List

Follow these simple steps to check if you made it to the UNIMED Admission List:

  1. Visit the UNIMED POST-UTME Portal: UNIMED Admission Portal
  2. Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the provided space.
  3. Click on “Check” and proceed to view your admission status.

Note: Ensure you have uploaded your O’level results and selected UNIMED as your first choice. The University has set a cut-off mark, and the provisional admission list is based on compliance with these directives.

Fresh Student’s Registration Process (UTME/DE)

If you find your name on the admission list, congratulations! Here’s what you need to do next:

  1. Visit the UNIMED POST-UTME Portal to check your admission status and accept the offer.
  2. Check your admission status on the JAMB Website and print your Admission Letter if available.
  3. Visit the University Portal at www.unimed.edu.ng/portal.
  4. Click on “Make Payment” to pay the Acceptance Fee online using VISA, Verve, or MASTER Card. Follow the subsequent instructions.
  5. After successful payment, print your e-Payment Receipt online.
  6. Click on “Account Creation” on the portal to create a student account and subsequently log in to fill all required forms.
  7. Download and print the completed forms in four copies.
  8. Proceed to the Academic Affairs Office from 9th October 2023 for screening with four copies of printed forms and original copies of credentials, including JAMB Admission Letter, ‘O’ Level/’A’ Level/B.Sc Result, Local Government Attestation Letter, Birth Certificate, Letter of good conduct from a reputable person in the society, four passport-sized photographs, and Acceptance Fee payment receipt.
  9. Complete medical registration at the Health Centre.
  10. Upon successful clearance, proceed to pay for School Fees and Accommodation Fees (for hostel space).
  11. Log in to your account and fill the Course Registration Form.
  12. Download and print the completed Course Registration in four copies.
  13. Proceed to your Departmental Course Coordinator for endorsement of the Registration Form.
  14. Proceed to your Department Head for endorsement.
  15. Proceed to the Dean of your Faculty for endorsement.
  16. Finally, submit your completed course registration forms to your Faculty.
