Sokoto State University Post UTME/DE Forms – 2024/2025 Admission

UTME Entry:

  1. Obtain JAMB Forms: Start by obtaining the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Forms, select Sokoto State University as your choice, and take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as per the 2023/2024 admission exercise advertisement.
  2. Complete SSU Online Application: Visit the SSU Screening Portal at portal.ssu.edu.ng. Use your JAMB Registration Number as the username and UTME score as the password. Update your contact information and generate a screening payment invoice of N2,000.
  3. Payment: Proceed to any commercial bank nationwide to make the payment or use the provided Remita payment channels. Remember, the application fee is non-refundable.
  4. Update Information: After payment, log in to your screening account, update your biodata, academic records, and other required details.
  5. Document Submission: Upload your O’level/A’level result in PDF format (not exceeding 50KB), and print your acknowledgment slip and payment receipt for your records.

Direct Entry:

  1. Follow the same process as UTME Entry but use your JAMB Registration Number as both username and password on the SSU Screening Portal.
  2. Provide additional documents such as JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. Result Slip and SSU Online application form.

Application Fee:

Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000. Follow the payment method outlined in the application procedure, and ensure to keep a copy of your proof of payment.

Application Deadline:

The closing date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Submit your application on time to avoid processing delays.

Ensure Your Application is Complete:

Incomplete applications will require re-application during the next application period. Double-check that all required documents are provided.

Required Documents:

  • UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
  • SSU Post-UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)

  • Passport Photographs
