Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH Admission Requirements: 2024/2025

If you’re aspiring to join Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) for the 2024/2025 academic session, understanding the admission requirements is crucial. LAUTECH offers two entry methods: UTME entry and Direct Entry.

UTME Entry Requirements: For UTME entry, candidates must:

Direct Entry Requirements:

For Direct Entry, candidates must:

  2. Be at least 16 years old.
  3. Obtain the JAMB Direct Entry form from JAMB to apply.
  4. Hold certificates such as OND, ND, NCE, IJMB, Cambridge A level, BSc, HND, or ICAN.

Course-Specific Admission Requirements:

Admission into LAUTECH’s U.T.M.E/Pre-Degree Sciences Programme requires a good performance in the U.M.E. or Pre-Degree Science Programme final examination. Candidates must also have five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology at the S.S.C.E/G.C.E O’Level.

Admission by Direct Entry into 200 level is based on G.C.E. “A” Level Examination or its equivalent. Applicants with ND/HND/N.C.E. at credit level in relevant subjects, along with U.M.E. requirements, may be considered.

Penalty for Falsified Credentials:

Candidates are warned against presenting false credentials, as LAUTECH has the authority to deprive individuals of their degrees or awards if fraudulent admission is discovered.

Deferment of Admission:

Students seeking deferment due to unforeseen circumstances must be duly registered, matriculated, and have paid all fees.
