IMSU Postgraduate Entry Requirements:

1. General Requirements:

  • For PGD in Medical Laboratory Science, AIMLS/AIMLT or FIMLT or equivalent qualifications are required.

3. Masters Degree Programmes:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with second class honours in the relevant discipline or Postgraduate Diploma at Credit or Higher level.
  • MPA applicants need a minimum of five years postgraduate working experience.
  • Screening tests will be conducted for Master’s program applicants.

4. Ph.D Degree Programmes:

  • Masters degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications with at least 3.5 GPA on a 5-points grade scale or 3.00 on a 4-point scale.
  • Screening tests will be conducted for Ph.D. program applicants.

5. NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate:

  • Photocopies of NYSC discharge or exemption certificates must be attached to the completed application forms.

6. Official Transcript:

  • Candidates should request their former institutions to send authenticated copies of their transcripts directly to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS).

Application Procedure:

Step 1: Obtain scratch cards from specified banks (ZENITH BANK, DIAMOND BANK, FIRST BANK, ECO BANK, IMO MICRO FINANCE, UBA, and FCMB) for N20,000. Step 2: Log on to www.imsu.edu.ng to complete the application form. Step 3: Print and submit a copy of the application form at the School of Postgraduate Studies.
