Application Methods:
CCU offers two entry methods for prospective students: UTME entry and Direct Entry. For UTME entry, candidates need to obtain JAMB forms, choose Coal City University as their preferred institution, and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Simultaneously, Direct Entry candidates must complete the online CCU application form and provide additional documentation, such as JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. result slips.
Application Fee:
To kickstart your application, a non-refundable fee of N 2000 is required. Make sure to follow the specified payment methods outlined in the application procedure. The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period, so be sure to pay on time and retain proof of payment.
Application Documents:
Ensure that your application is complete by submitting the necessary documents, including:
- UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
- CCU Post-UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
- Result Slip for Direct Entry candidates (JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc.)
- O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) or an online version
- CCU Online Application Form (for Direct Entry only)
- Passport Photographs

Important Note:
Incomplete applications will not be processed. If your application is incomplete, you’ll need to reapply during the next application period.
