• Candidates who applied for Law but scored between 150 and 219 may be considered for admission into programs within the faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, or Education.
• Aspirants for Medicine & Surgery, Nursing Science, B.Sc. Radiography, and Radiation Science, and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) scoring between 150 and 199 may be considered for Anatomy, Physiology, and other allied Sciences’ programs.

Application Process:

1. Visit the BSU website www.bsum.edu.ng and click on the Admissions menu.
2. Under Application, click Post UTME/DE and enter your JAMB registration number to verify profile details.
3. Once verified, click “proceed” to generate and print the payment reference slip.

Payment Options:

Candidates have four payment options:

1. Cash payments at designated banks.
2. Pay online using Mastercard, VISA, and Verve Cards.
3. Payment at ATM terminals.
4. Payment using Quickteller. (Candidates new to Quickteller should sign up first.)

Registration:

After payment, revisit the University website and under Admission, select “Post UTME/DE” to:

1. Enter your UTME registration number and click “Verify” to confirm details.
2. Click “proceed” to login and register, uploading relevant credentials.
3. Complete your Biodata and upload necessary documents, including WAEC/NECO/NATEB certificates or statements of results.
4. Print two copies of the “Acknowledgement Slip.”

Important Note:

Candidates have one month from the date of the Press Release to complete payment and registration, with the process commencing on November 3, 2022, and ending on December 2, 2023. Admission will be granted only to candidates whose O’level results are on the JAMB portal.
