NABTEB Results For 2023 May/June SSCE Out

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has officially announced the release of the 2023 May/June examination results. The Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, disclosed this information in Benin City, Edo State. With over 54,000 candidates registering for the exams across 1,556 centers in Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire, the results reveal key insights into the performance and integrity of the examinations.

Key Highlights:

  1. Enrollment and Participation:
    • A total of 54,301 candidates registered for the exams in various centers.
    • 53,587 candidates, representing an impressive 98.69% of total enrollment, sat for the certificate examinations.
  2. Success Rates:
    • 39,220 candidates, accounting for 73.19% of total exam-takers, scored 5 credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics.
    • 49,529 candidates, or 92.43% of total participants, obtained 5 credits and above with or without English Language and Mathematics.
  3. Examination Malpractice:
    • A total of 239 candidates (0.45% of total participants) were involved in examination malpractice.
    • This marks an increase compared to the 2022 in-school examinations, with 300 candidates (0.36%) found guilty of malpractice.

How to Check NABTEB Results for 2023 May/June SSCE: For candidates eager to access their results, NABTEB provides multiple convenient options:

1. Online Result Checking:

  • Visit the official NABTEB result portal: http://eworld.nabtebnigeria.org/
  • Input your Candidate Identification Number, Examination Type, Examination Year, Card Serial Number, and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  • Click “Submit” and patiently wait for the results window to appear.

2. Email Result Delivery:

  • Follow steps 1-5 of the online result checking process.
  • Tick the ‘Send Results to E-mail’ box.
  • Enter a valid e-mail address.
  • Click “Submit” and await the results window.

3. SMS Result Checking:

  • Send an SMS in the format: NABTEBExamNoPINExamTypeExamYear to short-code 32327.
  • Example: To check May/June results, send NABTEB01001001123456789012MJ2012.

Important Notes:

  • Do not use a card that has already been used for another candidate.
