American University of Nigeria Admission Requirements: 2024/2025

Are you aspiring to join the American University of Nigeria (AUN) for the 2024/2025 academic session? In this blog post, we’ll break down the admission requirements for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates, as well as provide information for international students. Plus, we’ll share some essential details about the admission process and how to make your application stand out.

Admission Requirements for UTME Candidates:

  1. JAMB Score: A minimum JAMB score of 160 or JAMB’s official cut-off score is required for consideration.
  2. SSCE Credits: Candidates need five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in no more than two SSCE sittings.
  3. Engineering and Technology Disciplines: For these disciplines, a credit level pass in the Senior Secondary School final year examination or GCE ‘O’ Level is required in subjects like Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and Chemistry.
  4. Further Requirements: Candidates for Engineering and Technology are encouraged to have Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing at credit levels.
  5. Bachelor of Laws (LLB Honors): Applicants must possess a credit in Literature-in-English.

It’s important to note that meeting these requirements doesn’t guarantee acceptance. AUN carefully evaluates applications, and acceptance is granted to those with the highest scores and qualifications.
