    • BS5: Mathematics, Geography, Physics.
  3. Admitted candidates must also register for the 2022 JAMB Direct Entry Admission.
  4. The duration of the Basic Studies Program is twelve (12) months.

ABU Remedial Admission Requirements:

Candidates for the Remedial program must meet the following requirements:

  1. Possess at least three (3) credits in science subjects in not more than one sitting.
  2. Choose one of the following subject combinations:
    • RS1: Biology, Chemistry, Geography;
    • RS2: Biology, Chemistry, Physics;
    • RS3: Biology, Geography, Physics;
    • RS4: Chemistry, Geography, Physics.
  3. Admitted candidates must register and pass at credit level in the SSCE or NECO in the deficient subjects.
  4. Candidates must also register for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and choose Ahmadu Bello University as their first choice.
  5. The duration of the Remedial Studies Program is twelve (12) months.

Method of Application:

Follow these steps to apply:

  1. Obtain an “E-Transaction Pin” by paying N5,000 at any of the designated banks: ABU Micro Finance Bank, First Bank, Unity Bank, UBA Bank, or Zenith Bank.
  2. Visit the official website www.sbrsabu.org and click on the “Application” link.
  3. Enter your “Teller Number” and “E-Transaction Pin” in the pop-up dialogue box for validation.
  4. Complete the required form, ensuring you upload a picture (120px x 120px and 40kb).
  5. Preview your form and print at least two copies for your records.
  6. Print your “Pre-Entrance Exam Card” in two copies from the website.

  • Ensure you obtain your “E-Transaction Pin” from one of the designated banks.
  • The Basic (IJMB) program is a twelve-month Advanced Level Program for candidates aspiring to gain admission through Direct Entry.
  • The Remedial program lasts for at most nine (9) months, and successful students will be admitted into ABU Zaria.
