1. Admission Requirements:

To embark on this transformative journey, candidates must meet the following criteria:

a. Credit passes in at least five subjects (Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) at SSCE/GCE/NECO, with no more than two sittings. Note that only one sitting is required for Medicine and Dentistry.

b. Candidates meeting these requirements will be admitted into the Pre-degree programme.

2. Subjects Offered:

The Pre-Degree Programme covers essential subjects to ensure a solid foundation for success:

1. Mathematics
2. English Language
3. Physics
4. Chemistry
5. Biology

3. Qualification for 100 Level Admission into UNIMED:

After completing the Pre-Degree Programme, candidates are expected to sit for the UTME and attain the minimum cut-off mark for University admission. Additionally, successful completion of the first and second semesters examinations will further enhance their performance in the UTME and Post-UTME.

Successful candidates are eligible to pursue 100 Level Courses in various Faculties/Departments, including Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Herbal Medicine, Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, and Mathematics Sciences.

4. Method of Application:

Take the first step towards your dream career by following these simple application steps:

a. Visit the University website at www.unimed.edu.ng. b. Click on “Students.” c. Select “PRE-DEGREE” to access the Pre-Degree Portal. d. Make a secure online payment using VISA or MASTER Card (Note: VERVE Card is not accepted). e. Follow the instructions to pay the application fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000). f. Note the Application Form Number and Print the Payment Receipt. g. On the Pre-Degree Portal, click on “APPLICATION FORM/LOG IN” using the generated Application Form Number and Payment Transaction ID to complete the application form.
