Screening Procedure: Your Path to Success

Step 1: Visit the University Portal Start your journey by visiting the Sokoto State University portal at https://portal.ssu.edu.ng.

Step 2: Log in with JAMB Registration Number Use your JAMB Registration Number as both your username and password to access the portal.

Step 3: Update Contact Information Click on the ‘Update Data’ link to ensure your phone number and email address are up to date.

Step 4: Generate Screening Payment Invoice Generate and print your screening payment invoice, totaling Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000), excluding transaction charges. The invoice will contain the Unified Payment (UP) Reference Number. Head to any commercial bank with your invoice to make the payment or utilize the ‘Pay Now’ link for instant Unified Payment channels.

Step 5: Update Biodata and Academic Records After payment, log in again to your account and update your biodata, academic records, and any other required information.

Step 6: Print Acknowledgment Slip and Payment Receipt Complete the process by printing your acknowledgment slip and payment receipt for your records.

Key Note: Online Screening, No Post-UTME Examination

Please be aware that the screening process is strictly online, and no Post-UTME examination is required. This streamlines the admission process, making it more accessible and convenient for all applicants.
