PLAPOLY ND admission list for the 2023/2024 session

Plateau State Polytechnic (PLAPOLY) has officially released the list of successful candidates for the 2023/2024 academic session. If you’re one of the prospective students, it’s crucial to follow the steps outlined in this blog post for a smooth registration process. Checking Admission Status on JAMB CAPS:

  1. Visit the official JAMB website: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and log in using your registered email address and password.
  2. Click on ‘Check Admission Status.’
  3. Access your CAPS by clicking on ‘Access my CAPS.’
  4. Click on ‘Admission Status’ to see if you’ve been offered admission.
  5. If admitted, proceed to click “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to indicate your acceptance or rejection of the admission offer.
  6. For candidates with a status of “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted,” keep checking as the status may change.
  7. Important: Clicking “REJECT” means you are declining the offer of admission.

Registration Guidelines:

Candidates who have secured admission into Plateau State Polytechnic are required to follow these procedures for registration:

  1. Beware of Fraudsters:
    • Be cautious of individuals or cyber cafés claiming to assist with registration. They are not affiliated with the Polytechnic, and dealing with them is at your own risk.
  2. Registration Period:
    • Register within the stipulated time to avoid a non-refundable late registration fee of N10,000.00. Failure to comply may result in the forfeiture of your admission.
  3. Acceptance Fee:
    • Pay the acceptance fee through the student portal. Follow the prompts, print the receipt on the portal, and proceed to the Bursary Department for confirmation.
    • Note: ND I / NCE I candidates must print a copy of their JAMB Admission letter for verification at the Academic office before acceptance fee payment is activated.
  4. Attestation Letter:
    • Obtain an attestation letter from a recognized clergy, Imam, senior civil servant (Director or higher), or top military/Para-military personnel.
  5. Certificate Verification:
    • Present original certificates at the Academic division for screening/verification, including O’level and A’level certificates, Indigene form, Birth Certificates, one-year Industrial Training letter (for HND candidates only), Bio-data form, screening fee receipt, and acceptance fee receipt.
    • HND candidates from other institutions must apply for an Academic Transcript, sent to the Registrar at Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi through post office or courier services.
