PUMS Admission Requirements through UTME:

To secure admission into PAMO University of Medical Sciences in 2024 through UTME, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

• Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
• All admissions into the University are processed through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
• For admission into 100 level via UTME, candidates must have:
  • Obtained five (5) credits at SSCE (or equivalent) in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings. This should include credit passes in English and Mathematics.
  • Scored 170 or above in the 2024 UTME in relevant subjects. However, for MBBS, the score requirement is 220 and above.
• For admission through direct entry (200 level), candidates should have:
  • Five (5) O’Level credits
  • Possess at least two (2) A’ Level or its equivalent passes for programmes other than MBBS. For MBBS, applicants must have at least three (3) A’ Level or its equivalent passes in relevant subjects or possess a good first degree in a related field not below Second Class Lower.
• Applicants who meet the requirements will undergo a screening interview conducted by the University.
• Transfer students will not be accepted until after at least the first two years of the University’s existence.
• Candidates must also meet the stipulated cutoff marks for their respective courses to gain admission into the university.

Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to JAMB requirements.
