To be eligible for the Maritime Academy of Nigeria’s Post-UTME screening, candidates must have selected the institution as their first choice in the 2023 UTME and scored above the specified cut-off marks. The cut-off marks for the various National Diploma (ND) programs are as follows:

  • Nautical Science: 175
  • Marine Engineering: 175
  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering: 175
  • Maritime Transport and Business Studies: 160

Modes of Correspondence:

Candidates are required to have a functional email address and mobile phone number for correspondence. Physical presence is not necessary unless invited through official website publication, email, or text messages.

O-Level and UTME Subjects Combination:

Each program has specific O-level and UTME subject combinations. For example:

  • ND Nautical Science requires credits in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Geography, and UTME subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Geography, and Physics.

Physical and Medical Fitness:

Physical and medical fitness are crucial for cadetship training. Shortlisted candidates may undergo physical and medical fitness tests, including the completion and submission of the Medical Examination Form (Form M) and relevant medical laboratory tests.

Marital Status and Age Limit:

Applicants must be single throughout the program’s duration, and age limits vary based on the program:

  • Candidates for Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, and Electrical/Electronic Engineering must be between 16 and 21 (or 16 and 25 for Nautical Science) as of October 31, 2023.

  2. Log in using UTME number as Username and Jamb Score as Password
  3. Generate RRR for payment
  4. Choose a payment mode and proceed to the bank or pay online
