FULOKOJA Admission Requirements

(a) Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) The PGD program requires a minimum of two (2) semesters and a maximum of four (4) semesters. Applicants must have a first degree not below third class or HND not below lower credit in relevant disciplines. In addition, candidates must possess credits in English Language and Mathematics at O’level, including three (3) relevant subjects.

(b) Master Degree (Academic and Professional) The Master’s degree program spans a minimum of 4 semesters (full-time) or 6 semesters (part-time). Admission criteria include a second-class division or its equivalent, a relevant Postgraduate Diploma, or a third-class Bachelor’s degree with a relevant Postgraduate Diploma. Candidates must also have five (5) relevant O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics.

(c) Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) The M.Phil. program, available only to full-time candidates, runs for a minimum of two (2) semesters and a maximum of four (4) semesters. Conversion to Ph.D. is possible with a CGPA not less than 4.00 at the end of the first session. Eligibility criteria include a Master’s degree with a CGPA below 2.5 (4-point scale) or 3.5 (5-point scale) in a proposed area of study.

(d) Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) The Ph.D. program runs for a minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum of ten (10) semesters. Applicants should hold a good Master’s degree (Academic) with a CGPA not less than 4.0 (5-point scale) or 3.0 (4-point scale) appropriate to the proposed area of study.
