HND Entry Requirements

Candidates applying for HND programs must meet the following requirements:

  1. Possess a National Diploma in their chosen program from a recognized/accredited Polytechnic or Monotechnic.
  2. Have at least five (5) relevant O’level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in WAEC/NECO or NABTEB (O’level Examinations).
  3. Acquire a minimum of 12 months or 24 months post National Diploma Industrial Training Experience.

Application Process

Follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the school’s website www.fpno.edu.ng and click on the “Application form’s link” under the student’s menu. Choose HND to proceed.
  2. Fill in your bio-data and generate an invoice. Print or copy the invoice number.
  3. Make a payment of N12,000.00 at Federal Polytechnic Nekede Microfinance Bank or any preferred bank using the Remita platform. If using a card, fill in the details for immediate processing.
  4. Return to the school’s website, click on “application form,” and complete the process. Print your acknowledgment slip. If paying with a card, print your receipt and acknowledgment slip.
  5. Complete all application procedures by midnight on 28th October 2022.

Applicants can initiate and finalize the process from any location in the country, minimizing the need to travel to Owerri for form completion.
