AKSU Post-UTME/DE Screening Registration For 2023/2024 Session

The Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) invites you, along with Direct Entry (DE) candidates, to apply for the upcoming Post-UTME screening exercise for admission into various undergraduate programs for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Key Information for AKSU Admission 2023/2024:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • UTME candidates who made AKSU their First Choice Institution and scored 140 and above are eligible to apply.
  • Direct Entry applicants must possess relevant qualifications such as HND, ND, NCE, A-level certificates, etc.

  • Faculty of Agriculture
  • Faculty of Arts
  • Faculty of Biological Sciences
  • Faculty of Education
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Faculty of Management Sciences
  • Faculty of Physical Sciences
  • Faculty of Social Sciences

Registration Period:

  • The online registration portal will be open from Monday, 7th August, 2023, to Friday, 29th September, 2023.

Requirements for the Screening Exercise:

  1. 2023 UTME Result Slip
  2. 2023 DE Registration Slip (Direct Entry applicants only)
  3. HND, ND, NCE, A-level certificate, etc. (Direct Entry applicants only)
  4. Birth Certificate
  5. Certificate of Origin
  6. AKSU PUTME/DE Registration Confirmation Slip (2023)

Registration Procedure:

  1. Visit portal.aksu.edu.ng
  2. Click on “START NOW”
  3. Click on “Enroll”
  4. Click on “PUTME”
  5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number
  6. Verify and Continue
  7. Make a payment of N2,000.00 as registration fee
  8. Upload scanned copies of required documents
  9. Preview details and confirm
  10. Click “Finish” to generate the Registration Confirmation Slip

Important Note:

  • A grace period of four (4) weeks will be given for candidates to accept approved admissions. Failure to accept within this period may result in ineligibility for admission.
  • Candidates with awaiting results are allowed to apply but must ensure timely uploading of their O’level (WAEC/NECO) results on the JAMB portal (CAPS) at an approved COMPUTER-BASED TEST (CBT) CENTRE.
  • Beware of fraudulent activities. The university does not have individual sales agents for admission.
