Entry Requirements:

Prospective HND candidates must possess five Ordinary Level Credit passes relevant to their chosen program, including English Language and Mathematics. Additionally, candidates must hold a National Diploma (ND) relevant to their program of choice. For specific details, refer to the online admission prospectus for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Cost of Admission Form:

Candidates applying for HND, General Welding, and Commercial Diving Programs are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) for each PTI admission form for the 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Procedure for Online Application:

Follow these steps to apply directly to PTI:

1. Visit www.pti.edu.ng
2. Click on “Programmes Menu,” then select “National Diploma & Higher National Diploma Programmes” and click “Apply Here” under the Higher National Diploma Programmes.
3. For Certificate Programs, click on “Certificate Programmes” in the “Programmes Menu” and click “Apply Here.”
4. Fill in the “FULL-TIME Applicant Sign On” page, click on “Sign Up,” and note your username and password.
5. Proceed to the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) page, generate the RRR code, and print the RRR code page.
6. Take the RRR printout to any bank for payment.
7. Return to the PTI website, click on “Students’ Menu,” and select “Applicant Login.”
8. Enter your Username and Password, fill in the online application form, and print the completed form for the examination/interview.

Important Dates:

• Online sales commence on 29th May 2023 and close on 3rd July 2023.
• Late online sales of HND, General Welding, and Commercial Diving admission forms commence on 4th July 2023 and end on 17th July 2023 at the cost of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) per form.

Entrance Examination and Interview Dates:

• General Welding Certificate Programme: To be announced later at PTI, Effurun, Delta State.
• HND Interview: 17th – 21st July 2023 at PTI, Effurun, Delta State.
• Commercial Diving Certificate Interview: 14th August 2023 at PTI, Effurun, Delta State.
