Entry Requirements:

To be eligible for any postgraduate program, candidates must meet the basic matriculation requirements, including O’ Level Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics, and other relevant subjects as specified by the department.

1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD):
   • HND with Lower Credit or above
   • Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline with at least a Third Class
2. Masters (M.Sc, M.Eng, and MPH):
   • Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Honours (Lower Division)
   • For Financial Management Technology and Management Technology: O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two subjects from Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, and Geography.
3. Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Architecture:
   • Second Class Lower Division
   • Credit level passes in FIVE subjects, including English, Physics, Mathematics, and any two subjects from Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Geography, Chemistry, Biology, Land Surveying, Building Construction, and Economics.
4. M.Sc in Optometry:
   • Doctor of Optometry (O.D) degree with a minimum of 50 CGPA on a 5-point scale or 2.50 CGPA on a 4-point scale.
   • Completion of a one-year internship and NYSC program.
5. M.Sc in Gender Studies:
   • HND Upper Credit or above plus PGD in Gender Studies
   • Bachelor’s Degree with at least Third Class Honours plus a PGD in Gender Studies
6. Master of Business Administration (MBA):
   • Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Management Technology.
   • For Financial Management Technology and Management Technology: O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two subjects from Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, and Geography.
7. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD):
   • Master’s degree with a CGPA of 50 on a 5.00 point scale or 3.00 on a 4.00 point scale.

Application Procedure:

Candidates should follow these steps to apply online:

1. Visit the FUTO Website – www.futo.edu.ng
2. Click on “Prospective Students.”
3. Select “Postgraduate Application.”
4. Click on “Apply here.”
5. Enter your email address.
6. Click on “Generate Invoice.”
7. Enter your details and submit to generate a payment invoice.
8. Print your invoice with the RRR number and proceed to the bank for payment or pay via ATM card.
9. Return to the application portal.
10. Enter your email address to complete the PG Application form online.
11. Ensure the referee’s email address is valid as a referee form link will be sent to them for completion online.
12. Print the Acknowledgement Slip when the form is completed.
