Admission Requirements:

Thesis/Dissertation Proposal:
As part of the application, candidates are required to submit a completed form with a well-crafted Thesis/Dissertation proposal. This should include key elements such as Title, Aim/Objectives, Relevance of Study, Methodology, Expected Results, among others.
Transcript and Reference Forms:
Applicants should request their relevant academic transcripts to be forwarded to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Akwa Ibom State University. Completed reference forms should be sent to the provided email address in the admissions form. Admission offers typically require submission of transcripts and reference forms.
Valid Contact Information:

Application Process:
Follow these steps to complete the application process:
- Visit https://www.aksu.edu.ng/pg/
- Click the “Apply” button
- Select the Postgraduate Programme Link
Payment Options:
Choose the “Bank” option and enter your full name, valid email address, and phone number. Click “PAY NOW” to generate a payment analysis slip. Proceed to designated banks to make payment.
After Payment:
Return to the dashboard and click “ALREADY PAID.” Provide your payment reference number and click “VERIFY AND CONTINUE” to complete the registration. Fill out the online registration form with the required information.
Document Upload:
Ensure that you have scanned and uploaded the following documents:
- SSC or its equivalent
- Degree/HND/OND
- PGD/PGDE (For M.Sc. applicants only)
- M.Sc./M.A/M.Ed./MBA (For Ph.D. applicants only)
- NYSC (discharge/exemption/exclusion)
- Birth Certificate
- Certificate Of Origin
Click the SUBMIT button after filling the form and PRINT the Registration Confirmation slip as proof of registration.
