Admission Methods:

BSU offers two entry methods: UTME and Direct Entry. UTME applicants must obtain JAMB forms, select BSU as their choice, and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. Direct Entry candidates, on the other hand, need to complete the online BSU application forms.

BSU Post UTME/DE Online Application Procedure:

1. Visit the BSU website (www.bsum.edu.ng) and click on the Admissions menu.
2. Under Application, click the Post UTME/DE link and enter your registration number for profile verification.
3. Once verified, click “proceed” to generate and print the payment reference slip.

Payment Options:

Candidates can choose from four payment options: (I) Cash payments at designated banks. (II) Pay online using Mastercard, VISA, or Verve Cards. (III) Payment at ATM terminals. (IV) Payment using Quickteller.

Registration Process:

After payment, revisit the BSU website, select “Post UTME/DE” under Applications, and:

• Verify details by entering UTME registration number.
• Login to your account, complete your biodata, and upload required documents.
• Upload documents such as WAEC/NECO/NABTEB certificates, marriage certificates, and certificates of state origin.
• Print two copies of the acknowledgment slip.

Important Notes:

• Only candidates with O’level results on the JAMB portal will be considered for admission.
• Candidates who applied for Law or Medicine with scores between 180 and 199 may be considered for alternative courses.

Application Fee:

Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of N 2000, following the specified payment methods. Ensure you keep a copy of your proof of payment.
